I dedicate my birthday to the friendliest nation in the world- #INDONESIA! Everywhere I have travelled in the country ( Papua, Bali, Timor, Banda, Java, Sumba, Lombok, etc) I have been greeted with so much love & fun- I truly feel I have lived well, been loved heartily and tickled beyond with insane adventures- this, despite all the ups and downs in my silly tumultuous life! Indonesia grounds me because this country is encased by the sacred Ring of Fire ( watch the docu on the volcanic belt that defines Indonesia). I feel so close to Mother Nature- our biggest healer. Like our Mama Africa, Indonesia too is our cradle of civilization. So, respect for this land is my everyday act of gratitude. All my birthday surprises are because of the love from every staff member in Hotel Tugu Lombok. I went for a quiet few days with few of my friends.... Didn’t really want to celebrate... But, damn I had one surprise after another! Thank you darling Lucienne for ALL THE LOVE! So happy and grateful! ❤️
