I wanted to write a long post on this day, about how much I love my country, how I am proud of being a part of this sometimes controversial, but still so dear nation, how I appreciate our culture and traditions, how today’s art community in Ukraine fascinates me with deepness of it’s ideas, how I cry everyday thinking of the suffering each of us is undergoing due to the war, but how we’ve united at the same time, how long this war has been actually taking place historically and how has my vision on the perspective of living in my country has changed over the years, thanks to reflecting on my family problems without extrapolation onto the city or the country, because in trying escape oneself, running geographically doesn’t help and how despite my psychological issues with security (how the hell you can feel secure living next to Russia) I feel protected wearing the traditional embroidered shirt. We have our pros and cons, the Ukrainians, but our beliefs based on freedom and freewill makes me love us unconditionally, my brothers and sisters. Слава Україні!
