So here goes... #TBT to 2010 Monica ➡Just moved to suburbs – away from all my friends ➡Had been working & commuting full time as VP at Sterling Brands ➡Became a first time mom with my son Rory ➡Suffered a traumatic birth experience (stat c/s) ➡Told my husband that I could not bear to go back to work at an office and leave my son ➡FT remote work was not an option, so I decided to go out on my own ➡Went from a full-time two salaries household to one salary household And I won't lie - I was scared sh*tless. I can't tell you how many moms today are in the same predicament I was back in 2010. But working in content marketing has been a gift.
