This past weekend I closed a very special performance chapter at @clubbabaludtla I feel like so often as a performer I’m just trying to convince choreographers that I am hireable as the role that takes the least imagination on their end and I’m already best at, so to walk into a rehearsal process on day one and have the Director fully confident in the ability of each member of the cast to rise to not one but several challenges was such a gift. Thank you @billybelldance for creating a show where I got to feel like the most utilized version of myself as a performer. In this show I got to be feminine, masculine, funny, sexy, mischievous, shy and was given the trust to change and develop every role each night. While I hope my career isn’t wrapping up any time soon, an opportunity like this is truly rare and one I’m so grateful to have shared with an incredible cast who also saw the immense value of what we were creating together.
