2 of my favorites joined forces last night. @orphanoutreach @timtebowfoundation Love these Christ-centered ministries. Time, talent & treasure being used to glorify God and impact lives here and abroad. . . . —((this text below is an edit made a few hours after initial post))— . It hit me on the plane ride home that this post might make some say, “Scott thinks he’s a pretty good guy.” Oh, my friends - not my intention at all. Those who know & are around me know my faults. And I know myself better than they do. And God know my faults/errors/sins better than I. If I beat my chest... may it not be about the fact that I’m friends w Tim, or get to speak on an stage at a fancy banquet in an NFL palace, or get to partner w Orphan Outreach to help children around the world... May I only boast in this: That God - while I was unworthy - delivered, rescued & paid the price for me. Indeed *adopted me* into *His family* while I was wholly imperfect.
