If you’re looking to prolong the Summer a little, now might be the right time to book an Autumn holiday from Zurich to somewhere warmer but not too far away. I‘ve just come back from a mini-break @clubmedmarbella and with the temperatures still at 31 degrees and sunny it really felt like Summer. I was there for the official opening of the Club Med Marbella (following a soft opening in May) and I really had the best time! In addition to wonderful weather the hotel has everything you wish for: fabulous food, great drinks, lots of swimming pools, a spa, 10 tennis courts, a number of paddle tennis courts, all manner of fitness classes, archery, putting greens and evening entertainment. And for families, childcare facilities and mini clubs. In fact they offer childcare for children from 4 months to 17 years! The @clubmed concept offers a high end all-inclusive formula which offers great value and enables families to try out a number of great activities all with professional supervision. Funnily enough I stayed at this hotel twice before many years ago with my family - and I must admit I didn’t recognize it as it has been completely transformed and modernized. Club Med have also taken an eco friendly stance with the remodeling and the roof is packed with solar panels and rain water collection points, the water from the showers is used to flush the toilets and there are many more sustainability features which have been incorporated into the design.
