Replying to @Cappos09 Red Wine Old Fashioned 🍷 It’s a good one but don’t trust me blindly like that... just make it yourself. It will be worth it. It’s always funny when I get comments saying “no one has all those ingredients” (cognac and bitters? Really?) or “no one has time to make that.” Sure, some ingredients or cocktail recipes aren’t super attainable to your casual viewer... if the concept of making your own fun cocktail syrup feels like too much work to you, all good. You’re still welcome to watch and scroll on ✌️ Cocktails or “mixology” (even though that word always feels a bit silly) is about discovery. Personally, I find cocktail-making to be much more approachable and easier to get into than cooking or baking– again, to each their own. I like sharing the recipes I come up with and the *sometimes* unique or advanced techniques I try out. I hope it inspires a few of you to try something new AND to share it with others. But for the random guy on Instagram who cannot be bothered to pick up a bottle of brandy and some bitters at the store 5 minutes down the road, sure.
