PREY is coming August 5! Directed by the talented @dannytrs Prior to shooting (a year ago!) I had never worked on a period film. Nor have I spent prolonged time in the great outdoors. The spectacular setting of Calgary’s forests, the accuracy of native village, the meticulous detail of the French trapper’s camp were all pretty breathtaking. Even more so when photographed by DP @jeff_cutter Shooting was already underway on my first on location day. Our first sight was a Comanche hunting party in traditional attire moving through a mountain forest. I knew then this was unlike any other Predator film.
