✨4.17.20✨ This birthday was different. While Ive gone through most of this lockdown alone at home (even distancing myself from my own man weeks at a time)... surprisingly, I found myself not feeling lonely at all. Yesterday wasn’t a milestone birthday... but I could say it’s one that I’ll always remember. My new normal consists of me checking in on friends and family on a daily basis (super appreciative of those who’ve been checking in on me as well)... working from home (which feels more time consuming than it’s ever been)... BINGE watching shows on my “free time”... and cooking for myself at an undesirable rate (to the point I find myself NOT eating on many occasions bc I’m so sick of washing dishes afterwards lol)... and being over paranoid of germs and gearing up for war everytime I walk out of my apt door. Not much to complain about really... life before this was a real blessing that I wouldn’t have recognized without being stripped of it. Vacations, Uber rides every day, eating out, partying... but time with friends/family is what I miss the most.. will never take those for granted ever again if/when we ever get back to doing all that. Anyways, I feel so truly blessed and appreciative of my family, the friendships I’ve made and kept over the years... the unlikely bonds that have strengthened during this time, and the job I’m thankful to have that hasn’t been affected by this pandemic. Thanks to all for the shoutouts, texts, DMs, calls and efforts made to make this one at home special. Love y’all! . . . Appreciative of this flick bc it was the last vacation I went on in October. Can’t wait to get back on a plane and catch a tan! ☀️
