As most of you know, the LokLac bowl is one of my favorite dishes before I became vegan. That dish has brought me so many good memories of eating with my family at the dinner table. Everyone would. So many conversations. So much laughter and of course so much flavor. I didn’t really cook before but out of pure cravings and necessity and being tired of “it’s good enough” , I decided to attempt to recreate this historic dish into a vegan version. Let me tell you, it has been a not so yummy journey to where we are now. Now I am so proud of this delicious dish and it brings joy to my heart to see so many people enjoying the dish I loved so much growing up but vegan of course. Come by this Saturday, my only pop up this week, @vegasvegfest and enjoy a bowl or two for yourself. Taste the love I put into every single bite.
