Call me Doc🙏🏾👩🏾‍🎓 • It has taken me a few days to process this special life honour of Honorary doctorate in Law I received from the University of Law this week, almost 10 years after completing my Legal practice course and qualifying as a UK solicitor in 2012. • I never expected this honour but I know how hard I have worked, how open and courageous I have always tried to be in my journey through law and football. I believe that is what has got me here today and I just thank God it continues to sustain me. • The legal skills I acquired at ULaw Moorgate 10 years ago still serve me today and for that I am eternally grateful. • A proud day for me and my family and an honour I will cherish for the rest of my life. To speak into the future for a new generation of legal graduates means the world to me. Thank you so much to the University of Law, Deputy vice chancellor and all the graduates.
