The poster at the center of our communication is created by the surfer and artist @wavesbyjohny , from Santa Cruz, Portugal. Surfing is Jonhy’s passion and his inspiration. For him “Nazaré is the new Arena of our times, instead of people fighting with lions, it’s people battling against this 20 - 30 feet monsters coming out of the ocean”. The paint is made with dark watercolors to recreate the mood of the event. The artist’s focus is on the big wave surfer’s bravery, as he quoted “they are the most alive people I know, and they made me think that it’s better to live a short-lived life, than a long one, without being alive”. 🎥 @tiago_beloo
