I was always told that the experience of becoming a dad was like no other. But no words could prepare me for how incredible the feeling actually is. The last 5 days have been the best of my life. I’ve seen my beautiful daughter brought into the world and every day since looked into her little eyes knowing I will protect her until my last breath and love her every minute of my existence. I’ve watched my wife conquer fear and pain to create our family. I adore and love you more than you will ever know. I have only had to spectate to become a dad, while you carried and grew our little girl for 39 weeks, with hormones all over the place, unable to sleep or be comfortable, difficulty breathing and the never ending appointments. At game time, you decided to put our daughters well-being before your own... and it all went perfectly. It was a journey for us to get here with plenty of obstacles to overcome. To to see you holding our girl in your arms, something you’ve always wanted, I know it’s been worth every step. You will be an incredible mum, and I’m lucky enough to witness that forever.
