now there are even more children we have to cry and pray over. more families that have lost a light in their lives. i want to emphasis how terrible these events are. i am a child in a school. there are drills to help us prepare for these events. THIS IS ONLY AN AMERICAN ISSUE. when England had ONE mass shooting the government closed in on gun laws. yet we’re still letting innocent children be murdered in the US. on average, about 1 school shooting per WEEK has occurred in the US. there have been 27 into the year of 2022. let’s not forget the mass shootings. there is an issue here and it appalls me that the government is not fixing it. want to say that there are tweets from certain governors that are just doing so much !! i love that Ted Cruz is sending his thoughts and prayers. i would like to see restrictions on guns as a thought. twitter isn’t the place for your first response. i am a child who has to face the repercussions of protecting your gun laws. i have drills consistently. so do most American children. and sadly, a maniac got access to a gun. those children are not just for our thoughts and prayers. they were human beings who will not go to camp, or get their birthday parties, or see another youtube video again. i am just so upset.
