Sesame might seem like an unusual ice cream flavor due to its inherent savory profile, but in Chinese cuisine, black sesame is commonly enjoyed in desserts. While the most popular way it's enjoyed is sweet black sesame mochi soup (tang yuan 汤圆), other popular desserts include black sesame macarons, pudding, mochi, bread, and ice cream! Our house-made black sesame ice cream is creamy, nutty, sweet, a little savory, and crunchy with our salted honeycomb candy.
