Struggling with Plow pose? Try these tips! 😉 Save this for later and forget to tag a friend in the comments 👇 If you are looking for a place to learn all the postures of Yoga at your pace and level, wherever you want, then you should check out our @HowToPracticeYoga platform, link in our @HowToPracticeYoga bio ❤ We can't wait to have you there! 💯 Plow pose is a bit of a crowd divider. You tend to either love it or hate it. This one is for the latter to give you some options to try to help it feel better: 1️⃣ Using a blanket slightly elevated the shoulders to the neck and therefore means the neck does not need to be in as much of a range of flexion as well as creating a bit of extra space to ensure it is the shoulders supporting you and not the back of the neck. 2️⃣ Stacking the hips directly on top of the shoulders isn’t the only way to practice this pose and it won’t be right for everyone. By leaving the hips further back, less weight is brought toward the shoulders and neck. 3️⃣ Elevating the feet onto blocks, a sofa, or a chair is a great idea to lessen the weight of the body and has a similar effect to not stacking the hips as well as being more forgiving on the flexibility required in the posterior chain of the body 4️⃣ Remember that not every pose is for every body and if plow pose isn’t for you, that’s totally fine. Legs up is a great alternative and the block under the pelvis will make it a far easier/more comfortable shape to hold. Hope this helps with your practice and/or teaching! 💕 For more, click the link in our @howtopracticeyoga bio ❤ Thanks for sharing @livinleggings #plowpose #yogatutorial #yogatips #yoga #yogateacher #yogaforbeginners
