It’s been a pretty significant year in many ways, and while I’ll never truly be a morning person, I have started embracing a slow coffee ritual (which @wilsonthesphynx often joins) before diving into work. It’s a little reminder to be gentle with myself, no matter how crazed the day may turn out to be. This room is obviously nowhere near complete, but it’s a solid work in progress — like we all are to be honest (who doesn’t love a home interiors metaphor?). And on the eve of another turn around the sun, it feels like a fitting moment to acknowledge and celebrate all the little victories along the path to becoming this newest version of myself.
