In the swirling emotions of the moment, as I tried not to sob on national television, I said “no person is more important than profits” but meant to make the exact OPPOSITE point. “PEOPLE ARE ALWAYS MORE IMPORTANT THAN PROFITS! Daniels and I have kept this belief at the core of how we make movies. So swapping of words aside, we are overjoyed and hope this moment allows us to continue making movies with the values my Dad instilled in me: Fairness, Equality, and Inclusion ❤️
