While it can be read as a standalone, the couples from previous books make appearances and we get to see their love stories continue. I enjoyed the earlier books in the series, so I was thrilled that Mai and Theo would have their own story! In short, I loved Darn Knit All and it deserves all the stars! Evie Mitchell does a fantastic job of seamlessly incorporating diverse representations into the story, helping readers learn more about different subjects. The text exchanges at the beginning of each chapter were a fun touch, offering a glimpse into Mai and Theo’s friendship before it blossomed into romance. The chemistry and banter between them are off the charts, balanced by sweet and tender moments along with the spicy scenes. I loved Theo’s golden retriever energy and how supportive he is of Mai, while Evie also gives his character depth, showing his vulnerability and past struggles. Mai is such a sweetheart and I couldn’t help but root for her! It’s heartwarming to see how she supports Theo in ways he didn’t even realize he needed. They complement each other perfectly, encouraging one another to pursue their dreams.
