I’m a little late posting this, but seeing as it’s the first day of #pridemonth I think now works! What an incredible experience it was to be asked to speak at the @adc_germany congress in Hamburg, Germany a couple weeks ago. Even though I didn’t know a lick of German, everyone was so genuinely welcoming and kind. It took a great deal of focus to be able to quiet any stirring reservations I had about being so vulnerable in a land so far from my familiar home, but I drew my strength from those of you out there who aren’t able to be as visible as I am. It’s for you that I will keep pushing through and showing up to tell my story. Our story.
