Charlie Brown Christmas, a dog whose two modes are “concern” and “velcroed to the side of your leg,” turned 3 this week. he continues to teach lessons about unconditional love (his and mine) and anxiety (his and mine). he was a very good boy this year and in 2021 dealt with driving halfway across the country multiple times, learned to ride an elevator, and accepted that scooters are not here to murder us (but thunderstorms, the mail carrier, and plastic bags blowing down the street still might be). happy birthday Charlie boy!
