Octopuses are undeniably some of the wildest, most mysterious creatures in the world! I always study my subjects while I paint them, so here’s a few fun facts: 🐙 Their ARMS contain two thirds of their neurons and they can independently problem solve! 🐙 They can change both the color AND texture of their skin to act as either a camouflage or a signal. 🐙 They can contort their body to mimic the appearance and behaviors of other sea life! 🐙 They can regrow their arms...like what?! 🐙 They can squeeze through almost anything (no bones!), as long as it’s not smaller than their beak. 🐙 They have evolved a blue colored, copper-based blood that is better at transporting oxygen.
