Today is the 20th Anniversary of HAIRSPRAY's Opening Night on Broadway. A night neither @scottwittman or I will ever forget. I wished that night that the balcony continued straight up to heaven so that all our friends lost to AIDS could see that Scott & I made it, and with a show about acceptance and inclusion and joy. Today, I hope that those who were there THAT night and are now themselves up in heaven smile down as we celebrate. Thank you Margo Lion for changing our (and so many others') lives.
