Today is the six year anniversary of my “coming out” mental health story. Prior to this day, I’d never shared my battle with anyone outside of a few family members. I was terrified, anxious, and somewhat embarrassed. I was afraid, but I understand that it was for a bigger purpose. I’d never imagine six years later that this video would go viral, viewed by millions and would be the catalyst for my national mental health advocacy platform. Praise God for obedience and doing “IT” afraid.
