counting my blessings from this bittersweet weekend in STL 🫶🏽 got to see some of my favorite places & eat some of my favorite food with my favorite person, but these photos don’t show the tears, the family hugs, drama that always comes with a funeral - lows that we count as blessings because they help us enjoy the highs. saying goodbye to someone that raised you, believed in you, and loved you more than anything - even when you didn’t agree on things - is a bitter feeling. but sweet is the knowledge that Ruth has a legacy of 28 grandchildren (& 3 great grandchildren!) trained to see the good in everything and never shy away from sharing our opinions and talking WAY too much. I’ll forever count my blessings because of you 💜
