ACROSS THE FLOOR! As a jazz/jazz funk teacher this means so much to me! Making sure correct jazz technique is being taught and passed down! I know my jazz funk combos are usually more funky than technical, but this happens in EVERY class. A real warm up, across the floor, and then we dance! Here’s insight of corrections, my across the floors (that I make up myself) , and the AMAZING dancers that apply the notes for class to be their best selves! On another note, I know we ALL mostly take hiphop classes now, but there is NOTHING wrong with coming to a jazz class every week! Brush that dust off and remain versatile. Dont be scared to be better!! There’s room for all of us to be all around dancers!
