My first drop with @join_royal sold out in under 30 seconds. That’s four individual collections of mine completely sold out 😮‍💨 I’ve been getting DM’s with questions, and all I’ll say is try to stop meeting new things with such skepticism. New ideas are unprecedented until they’re not, and right now we’re entering a completely new creative landscape, which eradicates the power record labels have held over us our entire careers. Running a campaign with a song and a music video is boring and archaic with the creative tools we have access to now. The extent in which we’re able immerse our listeners has shifted. We can finally crowdfund our creative ideas, whilst building a community at the same time. It’s synonymous, and it’s empowering. Nothing but 💛 to @join_royal for seeing the quality in my art when the music industry never did. The starving artist narrative is fading 💭
