It was love at first sight when I saw this building on my first visit to El Salvador over 15 years ago. I loved the bold graphics and the very Salvadoran phrase - “del comal” which best translates to “from the griddle” although not really. I know one day something more modern will rise in this buildings place - nothing is forever after all. But in the mean time I always take a picture as we drive into La Libertad from Surf City. 🏄‍♂️
