I’ve thought a lot about my role in my community. I own several businesses-can I speak out for what I believe in or does that isolate me and my ventures? My conclusion is I cannot be idle in this climate. I have a responsibility to use my voice and I am lucky that my awesome brother & business partner Marc, my husband and the CEO @maxrohn and our partner @roth.roman support me using my voice. Tonight we hosted @fred.w.thiele and @eastendyimby @wolfferwine to raise awareness about Proposition 3, the Community Housing Project that is a major item on the ballot in our community. Our community is losing its infrastructure-we don’t have enough teachers, there are hundreds of available jobs in the hospitals, every storefront is searching for employees..our community is in trouble. I am proud to support Proposition 3 that will help get us on track for affordable housing. Thank you to all who came out to support tonight and to those who promised to never support me again bc I’m using my voice, it’s ok.
