Whenever my dad visits for the weekend, he ALWAYS disappears for a couple hours. I’ll look around the house and ask the boys, “Where’s Opa?” before realizing with a forehead slap that he’s either downstairs fixing a broken lamp, or outside washing our car. His love language is acts of service, and his hyper-specific version is fixing up his kids’ stuff!
