One full year around the sun with Bowser! Bowser was brought to me as a foster, he was given up as a 7 week old puppy because the family that bought him found out that he had a heart condition... instead of giving him a good life for however long he’s on this earth, he was discarded by his former humans like trash. My family at the @thelabellefoundation took him in, medical conditions and all and asked that I foster him. I’ve had 162 foster dogs with the @thelabellefoundation and never kept one of them, because the job of a foster is to care for animal until they are ready to make a house a home and family whole. In Bowser’s case, we didn’t and don’t know how long he’s going to be here and he knew me the longest... I also loved him and love him dearly. So, the best thing for him, was for me to adopt him... and I did. It was also the best thing for Gracie and I. Everyday with him is a joy, he’s funny, loving, awesome... and he’s my dog.
