Everything I have been through in my beauty career has led to this photo. 3 years ago I started touring commercial buildings. I was just 20 years old. saving up, dreaming big, lashing my fingers to the bone. The beauty industry felt lonely and I never felt true community in my places of work, so I made it my life’s mission to create it. Every night that I cried my eyes out over this empty, torn up, expensive building and it’s never ending list of problems, I remembered that one day this exact photo would be taken and that all the struggles would be worth it when it’s filled with renters.
