I still can’t believe that I lost my very own little brother - Karsang Tenjing Sherpa @adventure_tensi in this tragic event. Losing an immediate family member is one of the most difficult things that I and my family are going through right now.
Karsang and I grew up together and I am always fortunate to have him as my little brother. He was the most hardworking humble person known for his impressive approach to work as a key member of the Elite Exped Operations in Nepal. I still remember all our moments together. I have always guided and supported him throughout the journey and to build his career and love towards the Himalayas. I was there guiding and supporting him on all his journey, and together we climbed multiple Mountains like Everest, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Makalu, and other. He was always a strong, talented, and dedicated climber who never gave up and was a part of Project Possible.
I still recall the last message he sent to me, where he wanted the members of Elite Exped to participate in the futsal program organized by the local community to create a strong bond with all the other brothers residing in the community. He was generous and always had a thoughtful mind to create better relationships with new people with his helping nature and respectful thoughts. He was the most significant part of our family, and his absence will be very difficult for us to absorb.
He was always there for me, and I was always there for him through all our ups and downs. Nothing on earth can repair this loss. No words will be able to express our relationship and the whole Elite Exped team is heartbroken at the loss of our precious team members.
Rest in Peace my Brothers:
Karsang Tenjing Sherpa: 1994 – 2022
Ashok Wenjha Rai: 1990 – 2022
Tsewang Sherpa: 1997 – 2022
