five years ago, i made the decision to make something real out of my love for dance. ill be forever grateful i did. never in a million years would i have thought id get to dance snow queen or garner the special people i have today. im so blessed to have danced alongside this studio, and undoubtedly, dance has given me the foundation to build on for years to come. it has given me the title of smoky mountain’s distinguished young woman but also taught me i deserve the title. dance nurtured me into the woman that has always been in me. this night meant so much to me in so many ways. i love you all so so much
