San Diego’s taco fame is real—and when you go beyond the classics, that’s where the flavor kicks into high gear.
Be ready for a line when you show up but it moves fast, and trust me — it’s worth every second. You'll have to choose which type of meat you want and head into that line. Everything here is authentic and delicious. Start with the adobada tacos (meat sliced right off the spit), then level up with suadero or lengua if you’re feeling adventurous. We jumped in line and dove into the lineup — barbacoa (melty, rich cow cheek), lengua (silky beef tongue), and the hearty campechana (steak + chorizo mash-up). We even snuck in a quesadilla version with barbacoa because, why not?
Pro tip: order more than you think you can eat or you'll regret it and have to get back in line.
