Grand rising familia 🌅 It’s been hard to find the words to describe my thoughts & feelings about the current social-political/environmental situation happening in my home land, Borikén, Puerto Rico. And that’s ok. The way we come together in community as Boricuas shows that the strength and intelligence of our ancestors is still here today, supporting us every step of the way. The recent passing of Hurricane Fiona has been devastating on many levels because of the deep colonial politics & infrastructures still in place. We need all the help & community love we can gather to continue supporting our people on the island ✊🏾🇵🇷🌅 Join us this SATURDAY at @rise.radio.nyc from 8PM as we get together to do what we do best, support each other through the arts and get the work done while healing en familia.
