The North Trail at Cape Lookout State Park is now open! It was closed after the Labor Day 2020 windstorm toppled trees across the trail. This was a group effort to reopen: 3 straight weeks of cutting out downed trees from the trail by a contractor; work parties with the Trailkeepers of Oregon, 5 weeks of trail work with the Northwest Youth Corps; 3 weeks of South Fork Work Crew, and many staff hours put in by the Cape Lookout team. #TeamWork Image description: Two images show the rebuilt trail along a steep hillside bordered by vegetation.
