This is really what it’s like for #NYFW at least for me. When shooting content, there’s not enough time to keep going back and forth to a hotel to change unless you shoot in and directly around the hotel. I needed my bestie and a suitcase to maximize time. You’re paying someone for every minute and if you want to get as many shots in without compensating a photographer to follow you everywhere you go, this is needed. It wasn’t as cute behind the scenes asking restaurants and businesses to use the restroom to change but it was a must. 1. The hotels in NY are small and during Fashion week, prices are inflated. 2. It takes a minute to travel from place to place so having what you need with you is essential. 3. Plan out everything. Even if it doesn’t work out, it makes life so much easier and the day tends to flow a little better. 4. Get help. If you have a friend or significant other, ask them for assistance. If they volunteer, take them up on all the offers, even if you think you might not need it. 5. Try on your outfits and get comfortable shooting in public. So many people will have eyes on you, will take your photos and even want to chat. Focus on the shooter and get it done. 6. Breathe and prepare your coins. I would do it again and have every intention on doing so. It was totally worth it and if you really want the real bts of #nyfw check out the vlog on my yt channel. #fallfashion #bts #fallfashion2022
