For so long I lived for myself, chasing my own interests and trying everything I could to fill that “want” in my soul. There were moments, but they didn’t last. I gained what I thought would fill me, but I was left empty. It doesn’t take long to look at the world around us and see that something isn’t right. That something is missing. My heart screamed, “There must be more than this.” There was. There is. Jesus gave my life meaning. He saved me from myself, from a hopeless and aimless life that was filled with constant questions: “What am I meant to do? What is the meaning?” To be loved by God, know Him, and share the eternal hope of Jesus, who has saved my life! This is my meaning! This is my purpose! And oh, how beautiful it is! that no matter the ups and downs of this life, my hope remains the same because God remains the same. Though this world is evil, Jesus came to save the broken and lost like me from it. And the best news is that He is always waiting with arms wide open 🧡
