I remember when I use to want to be a photographer. I’d scope out designers online in hopes of collaborating with them in the future to just create. Fast forward to me finding my connection with Orisha, and Orisha making it clear to me that photography wasn’t going to work because I was born to be in front of the camera. This photo shoot is so wild to me because it was this exact dress I wanted to pull and shoot, only for me to end up in it a couple years later on the cover of @atmos magazine, with my Orisha, Eleggua, on my side. Baba, you have made such a king out of me. My love for you expands past every forest in this world. I can’t wait to walk towards ocha with you by my side and to become the priestess I was always destined to be. Thank you for allowing me and trusting me to carry such great Ashe.
