Yesterday was an incredible day...❤️ Years ago I became extremely unwell. I ended up in St Thomas Hospital having life saving surgery. I spent weeks of my recovery looking out of the window across the river Thames to the House of Lords...🙏 Today I was invited to the House of Lords as a guest to celebrate being one of Britain’s top 100 most influential female entrepreneurs.🥂 As I stood on the terrace and looked back across the river at St Thomas hospital I now realised I was well and truly on the other side of that river. I realised how far id come and how much I’ve achieved. It was actually thanks to my journey there that I founded @iamdenimlondon 👖 I remember looking out of the hospital window and thinking to myself one day il have lunch there, I didn’t know how but today it fell into place. Very surreal and a true reminder to never give up, to follow your dreams and to have the courage to believe in yourself. ❤️ Thank you to @fentrepreneuruk @smallbizsatuk and @ukhouseoflords for a truly incredible inspiring and uplifting day.
