Irene Ellen McKay Koutrouba, best known as Grammie — our angel 🤍 It’s hard to imagine my life without her. She’s been there for every milestone, big or small. I know she’s watching over all of us now, and as much as it pains me that our baby girl will never meet her earthside, I truly believe she has her protection as a guardian angel. My heart aches for her, but I’m endlessly grateful for the years we shared and that she can finally rest in eternal peace. I will miss her humor, her cooking, and her deep love for New England sports. Grammie lit up every room she entered with her warm, contagious smile — the most beautiful soul, inside and out. I know she’s dancing to Johnny Cash in heaven. We’ll meet again someday, and until then, I’ll carry her memory with me always and tell our baby girl all about her great Grammie.
