genuinely curious if anyone else has had a similar experience mom’s kimchi fried rice recipe: - 1 cup fermented kimchi - 1 cup kimchi juice - several pieces of thin cut pork belly - 1 bowl of rice - 1 tbsp minced garlic - 1 tbsp gochujang - 1 tbsp sesame oil - handful of green onions - 1 tbsp sesame seeds - 1 pack of dried seaweed - 2 fried eggs 1. prepare kimchi into bite sized pieces 2. cook pork belly until slightly crispy in a pan or wok and remove 3. using the same pan sauté garlic and kimchi 4. add pork belly, rice, gochujang, kimchi juice and sesame oil 5. mix throughly and flatten to crisp the bottom (be careful not to burn) 6. fry two eggs and add on top of the fried rice 7. garnish with green onions, seaweed and sesame oil #korea #cooking #storytime
