It's such an honour to have received the Dan Porter award for overcoming adversity at the @bucssport Awards last night. Dan was such an incredible individual and it was very moving to hear about him in the poignant speech before, and from so many who attended that knew him personally. I'm incredibly honoured that the judges saw these qualities in me and I strive to embody them going forwards. It was a privilege to have been among the nominees, all of which have faced such different challenges, and I urge you to read their stories (link in story).
