Please join us in welcoming three new members to Navy Band Southwest. Musican 3rd class Ivan Vazsquez joins us as our new trombone instrumentalist. Petty Officer Vazsquez recently came to us from U.S Pacific Fleet Band. Originally from Garden City, Kansas, Petty Officer Vazsquez holds a Bachelors in Music Education from Pittsburg State University. Musician Second Class Jonathan Payne joins us as our new tuba instrumentalist. Petty Officer Payne recently completed the Intermediate Musician Course at the Navy School of Music. Originally from Flatwoods, Kentucky, Petty Officer holds a Bachelors in Music Education from Morehead State University. Musician Second Class Scott Wilson joins us as our new clarinet instrumentalist. Petty Officer Wilson came here from Navy Band Southeast. Originally from San Angelo, Texas, Petty Officer Wilson holds a Bachelors in Music Performance and Education as well as a Masters in Music Performance from the University of North Texas.
