Man About The House. A trip to visit our work in progress house in Hastings old town a few weeks back ( have been very lax on posting front lately - and let’s not get into wider IG fatigue/frustration. 🙄). Anyway back to house - had not been down there since March but @tonymcollins has been travelling down every week. Both directing operations and also properly getting stuck in to the work required to get to where we are now. Pretty much an empty shell (or ‘first fit’ as it is apparently called in the trade. Who knew. 😂). And now the beautiful bones and incredible light of this special house are finally fully revealing themselves and it’s becoming clear how our home will look in hopefully a few months time. And I am properly in love with her, or as I explained it to someone the other day -I can feel a settling of my soul every time I walk through the front door. An admittedly unfamiliar feeling for someone who is a self confessed die hard, Londoner but one am slowly embracing...just feels ‘right.💫. So a thank you to @tonymcollins for all the blood,sweat tears - and hours put in so far. And was also so nice to have our dear friends @lisamackintosh1 and #stevemackintosh finally visit the place we have been banging on about for the past year. Happy times ahead. A new place to hang in,have friends and family to stay, hopefully throw some epic parties in and call home. Also made my first purchase at the brilliant and beautifully curated @hawkanddovevintage. A 70’s Chloe/YSL vibes dress - need to get waist altered but apart from that it’s perfect. Happy days. @#thehousebythesea 😍💙🌊❤️
