The Rotted Christ 🩸 This is probably my favorite makeup to date. I had this idea in my head for a long time and never had the opportunity to do it till I got asked to creative direct this video for @cradleoffilth! It ended up aligning so perfectly with our concept and I knew it was time. I grabbed my homie @oldirtyzombie and we got to work! I picked my incredibly talented little brother @thesexhands to play my rotted Christ since he’s literally the ideal creature model, plus being a metal frontman of @ritualofdespair so I knew he’d have no problems bringing him to life so perfectly in front of the camera. He KILLED it! Damien and I laid all the pieces and slayed this paint and together brought to life the rotted Christ! My favorite touch was slathering him in real maggots and crowning him with my custom crown of thorns. All prosthetics are impeccably crafted by my friend @rbfx. One of the most brilliant artisans I know and his pieces are to die for. Thank you again Roland for creating the best pieces in the world and allowing artists like us to use them!
