Yesterday we said goodbye to our beautiful boy Sammy. He was with us for 9 years, and struggled with FIV as well as lymphoma. But you never would have been able to tell, as he was still being a sweet little menace even in his final days. Yesterday he spent the entire process purring, just happy to have his people around to say goodbye. I feel so lucky that I got to be there in-person for his final moments, and so lucky that I existed at the same time as our sweet boy. He was very shy for most of his life, and was able to experience many new things before his passing. He got to meet new animals, people, and he even got over his fear of the outdoors. Thank you to everyone who helped us with Sammy when he wasn’t doing well, and thank you so much to Sammy for sharing his life with us. Love you so so much sweet boy ❤️
