Repost from @cakeandconfetti • It’s always better when we’re together 💕Busting out of the ICU for the second time this summer and heading home to squeeze my babies! So grateful for my incredible neurosurgeon & the neuro ICU doctors and nurses at @memorialhermann for taking such great care of me the last six days. 💗 If you missed my stories, we discovered an aneurysm the size of a finger tip behind my left eye last Thursday and was admitted to the hospital. The surgery happened yesterday morning to place a device that will clot the aneurysm over the next few months. I still have a ways to go in my road to recovery but if this year has taught us anything, it’s how precious our health is. Dottie and I both had life changing miracle moments in the last couple months and I will never take our time together as a family for granted. Squeeze your people extra tight for me tonight and remember to always trust your instincts when it comes to health. 💗 We are grateful for the outpouring of love and prayers.
