I’m honored to be part of this awesome group exhibition called "Street Legacy: So Cal Style Masters," curated by @bobbytribal of @tribalstreetwear & @jimdaichendt. The show is located @theccae (California Center For The Arts) in Escondido, CA open Tuesday through Saturday 11am to 5pm. We live in a society that often treats the police as if they are above scrutiny and above the law. I’ve been beaten by the police and deprived of my insulin in life threatening ways several times. I’d prefer a more nuanced discussion about policing than Slick’s piece provides, but let his piece provoke a conversation.
